SERVICES: 11 AM SATURDAY AT OTT AND LEE FUNERAL HOME IN BRANDON
VISITATION: 9:30 AM SATURDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME
Gregory Strong Sturdivant, 52, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2014 at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon. Visitation is 9:30 am Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 11 am Saturday at the funeral home.
Greg was a native and lifelong resident of Rankin County. He had been a resident of Brandon Nursing and Rehab for the past several years and was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. Greg was a graduate of Pearl High School and had formerly owned and operated Lake Harbor Trading Post with his brothers. He had also work and volunteered at the Methodist Rehab Center.
Survivors include his parents, Adrian and Ann Sturdivant of Brandon; sister, Alyssa Farmer of Brandon; brothers, Steve Sturdivant of Brandon, Phillip Parker and Ryan Sturdivant (Kristy) of Brandon; nieces and nephews, Ally and Brayden Farmer, Nash and Beckham Sturdivant. He is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family request in lieu of flowers, donations be made to March of Dimes or Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital.
