Mrs. Gula Guillory

Gula Guillory, 94, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Brookdale Brandon in Brandon, MS. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the St. Paul Catholic Church in Brandon. Visitation will begin at 10 am Thursday at St. Paul. Burial will follow in Lakeland Place Garden Park Cemetery in Brandon, MS.
Mrs. Guillory was born in Ville Platte, LA and has lived in Brandon, MS for the past eleven years. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and a member of the Journey of Faith Bible study group there.
She was a devout Catholic who loved her faith, her family, and flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Valentine and Lea Swallow Guillory and her husband, Yves Guillory.
Survivors include four children, Robbie Lowry and husband, J. W. of Picayune, MS, Nell Chiappetta and husband, Guy of Slidell, LA, Jerry Guillory and wife Denise of Madison, MS and Donald Guillory of Avondale, AZ; one sister, Burley Sutton of Alvin, TX; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Senior Ministry Healing Masses, 5971 Hwy 25, Flowood, MS 39232.
