Visitation 5 - 8 pm Friday, 01/25/2013 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Service at 2 pm Saturday, 01/26/2013 from the Chapel with burial to follow in Brandon Memorial Gardens.
Guynell S. Brown, 75, peacefully went home to be with Jesus surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 19, 2013. Visitation will be 5 until 8pm Friday, January 25, 2013 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. A celebration of life service will be held 2pm Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be in Brandon Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Brown was a longtime member of Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon and she dearly loved her church family.
Survivors include her daughters, Jan Turner (Kenny) Manno of Baton Rouge, LA, Gina Turner (Mark) Varady of Louisville, KY, Joni Turner (Paul) Majors of Baytown, TX, Darla O’Connor of Baton Rouge, LA; 2 step sons and 2 step daughters; 1 sister, Johree Edgerton of Baton Rouge, LA; 1 brother, David (Dee) Stockstill of Mendenhall, MS; grandchildren, Marisa Turner of Baytown, TX, Sean, and Dana Varady of Louisville, KY and a number of step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
