Gwendolyn Renfrow

Gwen Renfrow passed away on December 6, 2016 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Funeral service was held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Visitation was held from 5:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, December 8, 2016 and again from 8:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home. Burial was held at the Allen Chapel Bible Church Cemetery in Lena, MS following the service.
She was the third of eleven children, Alene Tagert, William Wiltcher (deceased), June Wiltcher (deceased), Ruby Quick (deceased), Rena Runnels (deceased), Jan (Earl) Ingle, Martha (Willie) Webb, Mack Wiltcher, Dean (Bill) Downey, Jean Adcox.
She and her late husband Melvin Renfrow had four children: Gail (Ben) Kay, Mike Renfrow, Roger Renfrow, John (Nelda) Renfrow; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Her love for Christ, her church and her family has always been first in her life.
She was the "Rock" for many. She was mama to so many people. Now she has a new body and no more pain and suffering. What an awesome God we serve!!!
Serving as pallbearers were Johnathan Renfrow, J. J. Lott, Jay Hollis, Michael Renfrow, Brock Tripp, Corey Renfrow, and honorary pallbearers were Willie Webb, Earl Ingle, and Bill Downey.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
