Reverend Harry C. “Cliff” Davis, 81, went to be with the Lord on Mon. Jan. 30, 2012 at the River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, MS. Visitation will be held Wed. Feb. 1, 2012 from 5pm.-8pm. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and from 1pm.-1:45pm. Thurs. Feb. 2, 2012 at the Oakdale Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm. Thurs. Feb. 2, 2012 at the Oakdale Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Concord Cemetery in Pelahatchie, MS.

Rev. Davis was born on Sept. 4, 1930 in Ludlow, MS to the late Joe Stanley Davis and Willie Victoria Allen Davis, and has been a resident of Brandon, MS for the past 18 years. He had a Doctorate of Ministry and was a Southern Baptist Home Missionary and was also a retired Director of Missions for the State of West Virginia. Rev. Davis was a member of the Oakdale Baptist Church in Brandon, MS.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Doyle Davis of Brandon; his children, Gary Davis and wife Donna of Brandon, Mike Davis of Brandon, Angela Bennett and husband John of Louisville, KY, and Keith Davis and wife Tanya of Winchester, TN; his grandchildren, Jesse Davis, Jessica Davis, Sandra Davis, Taylor Davis, Spencer Davis, Rachel Bennett, Johnathan Bennett, Micah Davis and Caleb Davis; two great-grandchildren, Cameron Battle and Cameo Battle; two sisters, Dot Dickerson and Clara Davis and two brothers, Joe Davis and Curtis Davis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cliff and Mary Davis Family Memorial in care of the MS Baptist Foundation 1872 Hwy. 471 Brandon, MS 39042.
