VISITATION: 5-7 PM FRIDAY AT OTT AND LEE FUNERAL HOME IN BRANDON
Harvey Allen Campbell, 82, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the V. A. Nursing Home in Jackson. Visitation is 5-7 pm Friday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. A graveside service will be held at 11 am Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Old Monroe Cemetery in Algoma.
Mr. Campbell was a native of Algoma and a longtime resident of the Jackson area. He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Jackson. Mr. Campbell was an avid sportsman, especially enjoying basketball, football and Ole Miss Athletics.
Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Taylor Campbell in 1995 and son in law, Jeffrey Sills in 1999. Survivors include his daughters, Sherry Campbell Sills of Brandon and Angela Campbell Bean (Barry) of Brandon; sister, Alene Hodges of Algoma; grandchildren, Taylor Sills of Brandon, Meredith Sills of Brandon and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say a special “Thank You” to the nursing staff on the D Wing of the V. A. Nursing Home on Lindberg Drive in Jackson and request memorials to Old Monroe Cemetery Fund, P. O. Box 114, Algoma, MS 38820.
