Hattie Mae Means, age 88, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at her home in Brandon after a lengthy illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00AM Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in the chapel of Ott and Lee Funeral Home of Brandon. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Tuesday, January 17, 2012 and one hour prior to the service Wednesday. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Lorena Gray; brother, J.B. Gray and sister, Billie Watkins.
She is survived by her three children, Barbara Boyett and husband Bob of Madison, MS, William Means and wife Betty of Brandon, MS, and Karen McKay and husband Barry of Sugar Land, TX; granddaughters, Morgan and Shelby McKay from Sugar Land, TX; four sisters, one brother, and many nieces and nephews.
