Hazel Dale Haggard Shows, 91, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. Visitation will be 12 noon Friday, January 27, 2017, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with the service at 1pm in the chapel. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS.
She attended Belhaven College where she majored in elementary education. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Ernest and Marguerite Haggard and three brothers, Robert, Darryl, and Elliott.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Marshall T. Shows, Sr.; daughters, Sheila Marler (Terry) of Jackson, MS, Tabitha Shows of Brandon, MS, and Allison Kress (Steve) of LaVerne, CA; son, Marshall Shows, Jr. (Sandy) of Brandon, MS; and nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Eileen Flowers of Bull Shoals, AR and Evelle Bethany of Bessemer, AL.
