Mrs. Helen Crapps, age 95, a resident of the Branch Community passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at MS. Care Center in Morton.  Visitation will be held 10am-12pm Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Services will be held 12pm Tuesday at the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Branch Baptist Cemetery.  Bro. Paul Smith will officiate the services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mrs. Crapps was born in Scott County on February 21, 1924.  She loved working in her flowers and her garden.  Helen enjoyed reading the newspaper and visiting with family members.  She loved looking at old monuments in cemeteries and studying the genealogy of her family.  She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Crapps Sr.; parents, Jim Lane Measels and Emma Godfrey Gordon Measels.

She is survived by her children, Charles E. Crapps Jr. (Jan) of Sumrall, Jimmy Kreps (Carolyn) of Richland and Martha Jones of Hattiesburg; 11 grandchildren, Jason, Melissa, Jennifer, Lindsay, Lori, Nathan, Jeremy, Michael, Joanna, Adam and Matthew; 18 great grandchildren and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Jason Crapps, Jeremy Kreps, Nathan Kreps, Michael Kreps, Bradley Kreps, Austin Watkins and Triston Kreps.
