Henry Stephens

Henry J. Stephens, age 66, a resident of Forest, died Thursday May 19, 2016 following a brief illness.
Funeral services were conducted at 2pm Sunday, May 19, 2016, from the chapel of Ott &Lee Funeral Home in Forest with interment in the Morton Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held from 5pm to 9pm Saturday, May 21, 2016. Rev. Robert Roncali officiated.
He was born in Meridian, MS on December 2, 1949 to his parents Lonnie B. Stephens and Erma L. Neese Stephens. He was a member of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Lake. He retired from Adcamp Asphalt Company in 2014. He enjoyed being with family and friends. His wit and humor will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, a brother; Jackie Stephens, sister; Beatrice Harrell, a brother-in-law Elzy Huff and nephew Jeffery Harrison.
Survivors include his wife; Phyllis K. Stephens of Forest, 3 children; Chris Stephens (Brandi) of Florence, Misty Stephens (Paul Boswell) and Sandy Bounds (Chad) all of Forest. Other survivors include 3 sisters: Sue Harrison (Jimmy )of Pulaski, Sarah Huff , Glenda Jordan (Allen) both of Morton and Johnny Stephens of Forest. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren; Joseph Stephens, Ashley Bounds, Shawn Bounds, Justin Boswell, Peyton Boswell and Matthew Boswell.
Pallbearers were Lonnie Huff, Jeremiah Jordan, Joseph Stephens, John Michael Moss, Billy Wadsworth and Freddie Wayne Cromeins.
