Graveside: 12:30pm Saturday June 17, 2023 at his Home Place, 1027 Stegall Rd., Pelahatchie, MS 39145.

Henry Lee Finch Jr., 68, lifelong resident of the Kracker Station Community passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

Henry married Nan Coleman Finch on February 28, 1976 and raised their only daughter, Kendred. He worked as a small engine mechanic and spent 23 years working for Sears Service.  After retiring he enjoyed building and working on sawmills. He had a genius mind and could master more with one hand than most could do with two.

Henry is survived by his daughter, Kendred Griffin (Michael) of Morton; two grandsons, Garrett and William (all of Morton) and 2 sisters Rubye Jewel Allen and Mary Ann Easterling of Pelahatchie along with a host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Nan C. Finch; his parents, Henry Finch Sr. and Reba Finch, and his sister, Ruby Lee Stuart.   Arrangements are set for Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Ott & Lee funeral home in Morton.  Visitation will be held from 10am – 12pm, and graveside will follow at his home place around 12:30, 1027 Stegall Rd., Morton, MS 39117.

Pallbearers are AL Maxwell, Marshall Presley, Rusty Harris, Michael Griffin, Garrett Griffin and William Griffin. Honorary pallbearers are his trusted friends,  Tony Denton, Rodney Buckalew, Brian Blackwell and Jimmy Nutt.
