Hi Sorey

Hi Haralson Sorey, age 89 and a lifelong resident of the Pineville community died Monday, November 23, 2020.

Visitation will be held from 11am to 12pm Friday, November 27, 2020 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest with graveside services following the Visitation at the Carr Church Cemetery.

Mr. Sorey was born on December 17, 1930 in Smith County to his parents, Gail Sorey and Corzella  Anderson Sorey.  He worked on the Pipelines and he retired from H.C. Price & Company in 1972.  He was a member of Carr Church.  He loved the outdoors, helping people, visiting family and friends.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, George Sorey and a daughter, Martha Ward.

Survivors include his wife of  65 years, Hilda Jones Sorey of Pineville, sons, Tommy Stringer of Thibodaux, LA   Wesley Sellers of Raleigh, MS and a sister, Olivia Bailey of Forest, MS and, he leaves 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Grammer, Terry Hammons, Billy Joe Keeton, Red Wedgeworth, Charles Ray Sorey,  and Wayne Sorey.
