Hilda W. Bailey, 83, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2014 at Miss. Care Center in Morton. Visitation is 6-8 pm Wednesday and 12:30 pm Thursday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest. Services are 2 pm Thursday at the funeral home with burial in Clifton Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Mixon will officiate.
Mrs. Bailey was a lifelong resident of Scott County living most of her life in the Clifton Community. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and former member of Clifton Baptist Church. She retired from Raytheon, formerly working for Sunbeam, but really enjoyed her time working at Carlton’s Drug Store in Forest. She loved her Lord, family and friends dearly and never forgot to simply say “I love you.”
Survivors include her daughter, Nelda Jones and husband Ted of Lake; grandson, Bailey Jones of Lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Bailey in 1999.
