Hollis Elmer Bynum, 81, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013, at Brandon Nursing and Rehab. Services are 10am Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Visitation will be 5-8pm Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Presbyterian Cemetery in Mize, MS.
Mr. Bynum was born in Magee, MS on January 11, 1932. He was a good Christian Man who loved the Lord and he was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Pearl, MS. Hollis was an Army Korean War Veteran. He loved fishing, working in the yard and just being outdoors. He loved his wife of 58 years, his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel R. Bynum; daughters, Dorothy B. DeLoach (Ronnie) of Pearl and Patricia B. Jones (Donal R.) of Richland; granddaughter, Amber N. Lindsey; 4 great grandchildren, Damien, Willow, Pyper and Emmett; grandson by marriage, Chris Jones and numerous nieces and nephews.
