Hollis “Lynwood” Vinson III, 42, passed away Sat. May 29, 2010 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be held Tues. June 1, 2010 from 12pm.-2pm. at Pinelake Baptist Church in Brandon. Funeral Services are 2:30.pm. Tues. June 1,2010 at Pinelake Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Fannin Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Vinson was born in Gainesville, FL. and has lived most of his adult life in Brandon where he was a member of Pinelake Baptist Church. He loved to hunt, fish, and ride all types of motorcycles. Mr. Vinson was a very artistic person, but most of all he was a very hands on father who cherished his children with all of his heart. He is preceded in death by his father, Hollis “Buddy” Vinson Jr.; maternal grandparents, Thomas M. and Louise C. Jones and his paternal grandparents, Hollis “Wood” Vinson Sr. and Danye Claire Vinson.
Mr. Vinson is survived by his wife, Hiller Banks-Vinson of Brandon; mother, Mira Street and husband Clark of Waynesboro; mother of his children, Kathy Vinson-Harrison of Brandon; three children, Kylie Taylor Vinson, Shelby Lyn Vinson and Charles Graydon Banks all of Brandon; his sisters, Jennifer Williamson of Sylvarena and Jessica Lynn Watson of Waynesboro and two half sisters, Elise Perrette and Melinda Besse.
