On Wednesday March 4, 2020, Howard Worth Jordan, loving husband and father passed away at the age of 66. Visitation will be held on Saturday March 7, 2020 from 12pm-1:45pm at Wells United Methodist Church in Jackson, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday March 7, 2020 at Wells United Methodist Church in Jackson, MS. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.
Howard was born May 3, 1953 in LaFayette, Ga, the middle child to Charlie and Ruth Jordan. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in accounting. On New Year’s Eve 1980 Howard married Kim, and together they raised 2 daughters, Mandy and Samantha. Howard and Kim have successfully run a Merry Maids Cleaning Service for 25 years in Rankin, MS. They attended Wells United Methodist Church where Howard regularly volunteered with their Tuesday Morning Ministry. He sincerely enjoyed volunteering with the Shekinah Glory Baptist Church Food Pantry. A devoted Big Daddy, he was often on the sidelines cheering on his grandsons, Christian and Trace, at any sport or activity. He was extremely proud of his granddaughters, Anna, Sophie, and Lillian. Howard was quick witted, intelligent, full of humor, and truly one of a kind. With a generous heart,he loved and provided for his family’s every need. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Howard leaves behind the following family: his loving wife Kim, daughter and son-in-law Mandy and Brian Neeley, daughter Samantha Simpson, granddaughters, Anna, Sophie, and Lillian Neeley, as well as grandsons Christian Sherrill-Jordan and Trace Simpson. He was preceded in death by his sister Charlene McCall (Randy), and leaves behind a brother, Charles Jordan (Jan).
