Howard Donald “Don” McCoy, 77, passed away Wed. Oct. 18, 2017 in Richland, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. Oct. 21, 2017 from 10am-10:45am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Sat. Oct. 21, 2017 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Oakdale Cemetery in Brandon, MS.
Don was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. He retired from Fowler Buick and Rogers-Dabbs Chevrolet. Don served in the U.S. Air Force and was an avid domino player.
He is survived by his two daughters, Diane McCoy Cargile (Donald) of Vicksburg, MS and Donna McCoy Cannon (David) of Florence, MS; three grandchildren, Shelby Cannon (Larissa), Meagan Cargile and Austin Cannon; sister, Vernonia Reed Perkins and a brother, Rocky McCoy. Don is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean McCoy; parents, Howard and Mellie McCoy and two brothers, Larry and Jerry Reed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oakdale Baptist Church at 1872 Hwy. 471 Brandon, MS 39042.
