Hugh A Manus 88 has been reunited with his beloved wife Joann, who preceeded him in death, and whom he missed tremendously. He passed on Wednesday October 26.
Hugh was an avid gardener whose front yard became a repeat winner of Forest's "Garden of the Month". He loved sharing cuttings and garden lore with other like-minded souls. He also appreciated the community of fellow parishioners at the Forest United Methodist Church and he especially enjoyed his Sunday School Class. He left behind two children Devera Manus Lang and husband Ronald, and Stephen Ray Manus and wife Sara Bockhold Manus. He cherished his grandchildren Tania Lang Lass, Sonja Lang, Amber Manus Sukhbaatar, Cynthia Manus, and great-grandchildren Caine, Katie, Adrianna, Madison, Amaya, Eric, Taij and Serenity. He is remembered lovingly by his sister Dorothy Mattingly, and was preceeded in death by sister Evelyn Proctor Wucivic and brother Edwin Manus.
Visitation will be at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest on Tuesday November 1st at 5:30pm, service to follow at 6pm with Rev. Paul McDonald officiating.
