Brennen was the infant son of Ryan Michael Bortle and Stacy Hawkins Bortle of San Antonio, TX; he is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Bob and Ann Bortle of New York; maternal grandfather, Phillip Hawkins of Brandon; maternal grandmother Lisa and Jody Brasher of Brandon, MS; uncle and aunt, Zach and Kristy Bortle and aunt and uncle, Wendy and Glenn Dixon.
