Gavin Scott Harrell, age 2 months passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Merit Rankin Hospital in Brandon.  Visitation was held 10am-1pm Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Salem Baptist Church in Raleigh.  Services were held 2pm Wednesday at the church with burial in Pleasant Hill Baptist Cemetery.  Bro. Baron Price  officiated the services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Gavin was born on January 12, 2018 in Rankin County to Joseph Scott Harrell & Whitney Nicole Staley Harrell.   He loved sucking his bottle and smiling at everyone.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Preceded in Death By,   grandmother:,Tabitha Staley; great grandparents,  Jesse Burns & Daisy Burns,  Jack & Linda Ward, Rosa Lee Purvis & Hubert Castle Purvis, Odessa Gray, Hubert Harrell; uncle, Jonathan Webb; great aunt, Jessie Reeves.

Survived By, parents,Whitney Nicole (Scott) Harrell; grandparents,  Teresa & Shane Maddox,  Bill & Raelynn Staley, Jimmie & Frances Harrell; great grandparents, Faye Kazery, Joe & Claudette Bowen, Bill (Sr.) & Mildred Staley;  many aunts & uncles.

Pallbearers were Brandon Harrell, Mike Bynum, Shane Maddox, Jeremy Cockrell and Joseph Blansett.
