3:30 PM GRAVESIDE AT MT. PLEASANT CEMETERY IN AMITE COUNTY
VISITATION: 9 AM TUESDAY AT OTT AND LEE FUNERAL HOME IN BRANDON
Laynee Kate Whitehead, age 7days, of Richland, MS went to rest in the arms of her Heavenly Father Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Woman's Hospital due to respiratory failure. Laynee was born to her proud and loving parents, Derek and Rebecca Whitehead on August 31, 2013. She is survived by both parents, maternal grandparents, David and Deborah Lott, great-grandmother, Betty Hill and paternal grandparents, Terry and Janet Whitehead, two adoring big sisters, Taylor Olivia and Gracelyn Ann, aunts, Sheri Kirk, Stacey Hall and Janna Whitehead, uncle, Brent Goff and cousins, Britiney McCinnis and Brianna and Lyndsey Hall. Memorial services were held at Ott and Lee Funeral home in Brandon, MS on Sept 10, 2013. Our precious and beloved Laynee Kate left this world as unexpectedly as she arrived, but during her all too brief time with us, managed to teach us all to treasure each and every moment we are gifted with those we love.
