Iris Maxine Boykin Trest, 78, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS.  Graveside services will be 2pm Friday, April 16, 2021 at Fairmount Waco Cemetery in Mize, MS.  The family will receive friends starting a 1pm at the cemetery on Friday.

Mrs. Trest was born in Smith County, Mississippi.  She was a beloved wife, mother, and Nene.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy R. Trest of Pearl, MS; sons, Gil Trest (Danay) of Brandon, MS and Glenn Trest (Lydia) of Hazlehurst, MS; grandchildren, Whittney Trest, Zachary Trest, Amanda Trest, Stephanie Nowlin, Cory Peacock, and Jamie Peacock; and  great grandchildren, Jameson Bowering, Waylon Bowering, and Mamie Nowlin.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Gil and Susie Boykin and brother, Carl Boykin.
