Visitation on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2014 at the Sandridge Baptist Church in Lake with burial to follow in the Dennis cemetery.Iva Jean Dennis, 81, a resident of Forest died Thursday,
February 20, 2014 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be
held 2 pm Monday, February 24, 2014 at Sandridge Baptist Church with burial in
the Dennis Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 pm Sunday at Ott and Lee
Funeral Home in Forest. Rev. Bobby Boyles will officiate the services. Ott and Lee
Funeral Home in Forest will be charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Dennis was a native of Smith Co. She was the daughter
of A.D. Crane and Cora Della Stewart Crane. She was a member of the Sandridge
Baptist Church in Lake. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, quilting,
knitting, crocheting and being with her church family. She loved her family
very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will
be missed by all that loved and knew her.



Mrs. Dennis was preceded in death by her husband, Harold
Everett Dennis, sons, Glenn, Terry and Roy Lee Dennis, parents, A.D. Crane and
Cora Della Stewart Crane and her sister, Juanita Blackburn.



Mrs. Dennis is survived by her children, Ricky M. Dennis of
Forest, Iva Dean Jean (Jimmy) Smith of Decatur, Deborah McElhenny (Jimmy)
Crawford of Decatur and Ronnie D. (Rose) Dennis of Laurel; sisters, Virginia
Gregory of Louise and Marion Register of Morton; 18 grandchildren; 29 great
grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a host of
friends.



Serving as pallbearers will be, Chad Dennis, Major Harold W. Dennis,
Marty Hollingsworth, Colby Dennis, Chris McElhenny, Terry W. Dennis, Corey
Jolly and Darren Ross.
