Iva Jean Tisdale, 85, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation is 5 – 8 pm Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Graveside Services are 11 am Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Petal, MS.
Iva Jean McLendon was born in Forrest County on March 7, 1928 to the late Tommie Louis McLendon and Zoula Trigg McLendon. She had lived in the Rankin and Copiah Counties for over 50 years. She was an avid football fan, especially Peyton Manning, Go Broncos! She loved golf, Nascar and Bob Dylan. She made the best banana pudding in the world according to all her grandchildren.. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include two daughters, Norma Tisdale Quenneville and Barbara Tisdale Lambert; her brother, Otto McLendon; five grandchildren, Pamela Wilder and husband, Andrew, Mark Quenneville and wife, Kristy, Daniel Rials and fiance, Leslie LaFleur, Craig Quenneville, and Kristina Broome; and six great grandchildren, Derek, Cayden, Payton, Sarah, Cailin and Maci.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 1450 Riverside Dr., Jackson, MS
