Lena, MS

Mr. Jack Kyzar, age 83, a resident of Lena passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023 at his home.  Visitation will be held10am-2pm Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Chapel service will be held 2pm Thursday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in Eureka Baptist Cemetery.  Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

He was born in Rankin County on January 18, 1940.  He loved to be outdoors rabbit hunting and fishing.  Jack loved to sit on his porch and drink coffee.  He was a truck driver for B.C. Rogers for many years and he had a big heart for helping people.  Jack will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sadi Mae Kyzar; parents, William Fredrick Kyzar and Idellar Prestage Kyzar; children, Robin and Sherry Kyzar; siblings, Margaret Stewart, Annie Lois Payne and Pete Kyzar.

He is survived by his children, Jackie Kyzar of Lena and Ricky Kyzar (Betty) of Goodhope; 3 grandchildren, Chris, Brad and Rhett; 3 great grandchildren, Rankin, Raley, Reese and Ally and a host of friends.
