Jack Glen Jordan, age 57, a resident of Pelahatchie passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at his residence. Visitation was held 5-8pm Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and 1-2pm Friday at Thornhill Baptist Church. A 2pm graveside service was held at Thornhill Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Scott Walters officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Jack was born in Bexar County, Texas on April 11, 1957. He loved adventure and he never gave up on anything. Jack loved working on and building telescopes. His strong determination and witty personality will never be forgotten. He loved his family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Dwight Moody Jordan and his grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Pattie Burnham Jordan of Pelahatchie; son, Travis Jordan of Pelahatchie; mother, Martha Jordan of Pelahatchie; sister, Sylvia Wingo (Floyd) of Brandon; brothers, Carl Jordan (Jennie) of Robertsdale, AL and Wayne Jordan (Vickie) of Morton; 2 step children, Crystal Keene and Hunter Keene of Pelahatchie; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Jason Morrison, Luke King, Cortez Shelton, Scott Adcox, Charles Broussard, Steven Wilson, Floyd Wingo and Eric Reon. Honorary pallbearer was Hunter Keene.
