Jack Smith

Jack Lee Smith, 79, a resident of Collins, formally of Forest passed away Thursday August 19, 2010 at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2pm Saturday August 21, 2010 at Clifton Baptist Church with interment to follow at the church cemetery. Rev. M.L Wallace and Rev. Andy Boles will officiate the services.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents Dudley Lee Smith and Kitty Brazeale Smith, three brothers Mahlon Smith, Ernest Smith, and Ronny Smith. Also his wife Leola Smith.
Mr. Smith had retired from John H. Moon & Sons Construction in 1992.
He is survived by five children, Ann S. Sigrest (Billy) of Forest, Rev. Paul Smith (Karen) of Morton, David M. Smith of Brandon, Wanda K. Smith of Collins and Ronnie Lee Smith (Sue) of Forest. Mr. Smith is also survived by four sisters, Jean Walker of Morton, Kitty Ruth Harrell of Forest, Virginia Lyle of Lena and Betty Pope of Forest, and a legacy of ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Rev. M.L. Wallace and Rev. Andy Boles will officiate the services.
Pallbearers are Daniel Smith, Matthew Smith, Kaleb Smith, Josh Smith, Brad Sigrest, Lance Sigrest, Jonathan Sigrest and Clifton Horton.
Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest is in charge of arrangements.
