Jackie Robinson

Jackie A. Robinson, age 91, of Brandon, passed away on, Monday, August 13, 2018 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.

A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 10:00 am at Brandon Baptist Church with Dr. Clarence Cooper, Rev. Gayden Harrell, and Rev. David Prevost officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon.

Jackie was raised in Ridgeland. She was the daughter of William Samuel Adcock and Sara Jane Frances Adcock. She was married to Charles Edward Robinson for nearly 50 years. She started to work in 1960 for First Federal Savings Loan and was in Banking until her retirement in 1992. She was a charter member of Brandon Baptist Church where she volunteered in several different places. She loved her church and she was devoted to her family.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Robinson; son, Paul Wayne Robinson; her parents, two sisters, and her twin brothers.

Jackie is survived by her daughter, Nancy Williams; granddaughter, Rachael (Jamie) Gray; great-grandsons, Noah Gray and Ashton Gray; great-granddaughter, Brynlee Gray; and sister-in-law, Elise Robinson. A host of other relatives and friends.
