Alice Jacqueline (Jackie) Burnham Noeldied January 2, 2020 in New Orleans.  She was born November 24, 1938 in Harperville, Scott County, Miss., the eighth and last child of John Raymond and Fannie Woods Burnham. She attended Harperville School, where she was active in Glee Club and 4-H Club; she was a cheerleader and was Miss Harperville High.
She was a member of Harperville Baptist Church where she married Karl Noel.  They moved to Louisiana where their five children Randy,Danny, Antoinette, Raymond and Chris were born.  Jackie’s life was focused on the activities and events of her children,spending many hours watching her sons play football, daughter dancing ballet. She served as the PTA president.  She presided as the president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the home Builders of New Orleans and was a faithful member of the music program at Riverside Baptist Church.  Later in life, Jackie was a real estate broker and agent handling properties in New Orleans, LA and Pensacola, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Roy Burnham and John Burnham, Jr.; four sisters Doris Gallaspy, Helga Watson, Reba Jackson,Nancy Freeman; and daughter-n-law Jeannette Chambon-Noel.  She is survived by her five children Randy (Teri), Danny, Antoinette, Raymond and Chris (Donna); grandchildren Nicholas, Lauren (Devin), Jesse (Melody), Joshua, Allie, Raymond, Melissa,Zachary, Hunter, and Madison; four great-grandchildren Andrew, Jesse,Alexander, and Aurora Noel; one sister Irene Martin and her beloved cats.
The service will be Saturday, January 4, 2020 at HarpervilleBaptist Church with visitation beginning at noon and the funeral at 2:00 P.M.   The officiating minister will be Rev. Bobby McKay. Music will be provided by Joni Tillman, vocalist and Irene Martin, pianist.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas, Jesse, Zachary, Hunter, Joshua, and Raymond, Jr. Noel.  Ott and Lee Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
