Jacquelyn “Jakki” White Mozola

Jakki passed away the night of Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in her home in Brandon, Mississippi at the age of 81.

She was born in Laurel, Mississippi on April 21, 1941. Jakki was a loving and loyal wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She loved traveling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Jakki was preceded in death by her parents Noble and Monell White, her sisters Marjorie Grantham and Mary Levy, and her daughter Dawn Gleason. She is survived by her husband Joseph Mozola, her brother Sonny White, her sister Sheila Graff, and her granddaughters Danielle Scruggs and Kayley Scruggs, as well as numerous other family members and friends.

An intimate memorial service will be held for Jakki at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, Mississippi at 10 o’clock in the morning. She has asked in lieu of flowers donations to be made to Stewpot Community Services in Jackson, Mississippi. Jakki’s passionate and bright presence will be missed by many. She will be remembered among her loved ones for her kind and generous spirit.
