James Henson Garrett, 50, passed away Sun. Oct. 16, 2011 at his home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held Thurs. Oct. 20, 2011 from 5pm.-7pm. at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, TX. Graveside Services are 10am. Fri. Oct. 21, 2011 at the Rosewood Cemetery in Longview,TX. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS handled local arrangements.
Mr. Garrett was born in Longview, TX and has lived in Brandon, MS for the past five years. He graduated from the Steven F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, TX where he was a member of Thata Ki. Mr. Garrett was also formerly in the Motel Business with his late father, James R. Garrett.
He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Garrett of Brandon, MS; his sister, Susan Morris of Keller, TX; his brother, Edward Henson Garrett of Brandon, MS; one niece, Margaret Henderson of Keller, TX and one nephew, Garrett Scott Henderson of Keller, TX.
