James Edward Harrell, 50, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013 at his home in Florence. Funeral services are scheduled from 10:00AM Friday, May, 10, 2013 in the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday, May 9, 2013 and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment will follow the service in Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon.
James was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. His passions were fishing, gardening, and car racing. He lived his life to the fullest.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amie Lee Harrell and brother, John Thomas Smith.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Smith; daughters, Jamie Ann Harrison and Jessica Renae Harrell; wife, Renita Harrell; siblings, Anita Dollar, Jeffrey Smith, Benjamin Smith, and Angela Gilmore; and two grandchildren, Khloee Isabella Harrell and Layton Samuel Hernandez.
