James T. “Jimmy” Kelly, age 74, and a resident of Union, formerly of Morton died Thursday August 27, 2015 at the J.G. Alexander Nursing Home in Union.
Funeral services were conducted at 3pm Sunday August 30, 2015 from the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton with interment at Morton Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held from 1:30pm til the service time at 3pm. Rev. Earl Clark and Rev. Jerry Holmes officiated.
Mr. Kelly was born in Morton, MS on March 23, 1941 to his parents Leighton Kelly and Willie Grace Tullos Kelly. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Morton. He was an avid Mississippi State fan. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Kelly.
He is survived by a niece, Tish Hall of Atlanta, GA and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were, Percy Parker, Herman Thompson, Fred Johnson, Curtis Warren, David Hollingsworth and Jimmy Farris.
