James Meadows

Mr. J.C. Meadows, age 84, a resident of Brandon passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at his residence.  Visitation will be held 2pm-6pm Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.   Graveside service will be held 2pm Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Line Creek Baptist Cemetery.  Bro. Gary Wyatt will be officiating.   Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mr. Meadows was born in Johns, MS on October 8, 1936.  Working with dozers, heavy equipment and doing dirt work was one of his favorite things to do.  Mr. Meadows loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Elmore Meadows; son, Clayton Meadows.

He is survived by his special friend, Liz Pace; children, Tommy Meadows (Sandy) of Little Rankin, MS, Kenny Meadows of Little Rankin, MS,  Connie Bouslay of Brandon, MS, Kathy Ann Trigg of Braxton, MS; sister, Amy Ruth Millings of Pelahatchie; 36 grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
