James “Rick” Myers, 65, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be 4-7pm Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services will be at 11am Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Harmony Baptist Church in Winston County.
Rick was born in Jackson, MS on June 25, 1951 to James and Tressie Myers. He was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church and he recently retired from Tasco of Memphis, TN. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many.
Survivors include his wife, Patty Myers; daughter, Brandi (Ron) Hopson; son, Brooks Pettit; sisters, Jeana (Rich) Cassis of Decatur, AL and Sheila (Kendall) Smith of Brandon, MS; step mother, Eula Myers;
4 grandchildren, Tate Hopson, Sarah Brooks Hopson, Larkin Pettit and Kees Pettit; and 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
