James Robinson

James E. Robinson, 59, a resident of Pearl, MS passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with interment at Lakewood Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 5-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

James was a native of Jackson, MS. He was the son of Frank and Maxine Gould Robinson. He was married to Cheree Mann Robinson. He worked for Clearview Auto Glass. James loved God, Country and Family and to each he gave his all. Just as his father and grandfather before him, he proudly served his country. He served in the Marine Corps from 1975-1979 and retired with the Army National Guard in 2005, after serving a year overseas during “Operation Iraqi Freedom”. James never gave a second thought to giving friends anything they may need even if he was in need himself. James will forever and a day be loved and remembered by so many.

James was preceded in death by his father, Frank Robinson; grandfather, A.G. Gould and grandmother, Kathleen Gould.

James is survived by his wife of 27 years, Cheree Robinson; his children, Michael (Lauren) Robinson, Jerad (Miriam) Robinson and Dee (Christy) Robinson; mother, Maxine Gould Robinson; brother, Donnie (Faith) Robinson; grandchildren, Justin Robinson, Shanna Robinson, Caden Robinson and Nathaniel Robinson; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
