James Davis SharpMorton, MsA memorial service for James Davis Sharp will be held on Saturday March 26, 2011 at Noon at the Fuston Cemetery in Walnut Grove. Visitation will be held from 9am-11am Saturday March 26, 2011 from 9am to 11am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.Rev. Rick Hammerstrom will officiate the services.Mr. Sharp was a native of Neshoba County, Ms., born September 13, 1945 to Benjamin David Sharp and Reba Talbert Sharp. Mr. Sharp served his country in the military during the Vietnam era. He was of the Christian faith. His wit and humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, R.H. Sharp.Mr. Sharp is survived by three children, Buddy and wife JacLyyn Sharp, Billy Sharp and wife Monica all of Pelahatchie, Ms., and Timmy Sharp and wife Amanda of Southaven, Ms., three sisters Virginia Odelia Guy of Pulaski, Ms., Jane Lyles of Morton, Ms,. Bertha Joe Cantrell and husband Bill of Texas, two brothers, Benjamin Sharp of Hawaii, and Ricky Sharp and wife Magee of Texas. He also leaves two grandchildren, Morgan Sharp and Marlee Sharp, and several nieces and nephews.Services provided by Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Morton.
