Jamey Smith, 59, passed away Thurs. June 26, 2014 at his home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Sun. June 29, 2014 from 12pm-1:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 2pm. A private family graveside service will be held.
Jamey was born in Newton, MS and has been a resident of Brandon, MS for the past 10 years. He was currently an employee of 42 plus years with Boardwalk Pipeline Partners.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Smith of Brandon, MS; his mother, Roxie Smith of Newton, MS; his son, Tyler Smith of Bossier City, LA; two sisters, Donna Kay Duncan of St. Petersburg Beach, FL and Lisa Crafton of Dallas, TX; his niece, Jenny Crawshaw (Brent) of New Zealand and two nephews, Steve Therrell (Stacy) of Brandon, MS and Jack Edwards (Michelle) of Madison, MS. Jamey is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Smith of Newton, MS and his brother, Mark Smith.
