James Westbrooks

James Nolan Westbrooks, 68, of Brandon, MS passed away February 23, 2018.  There will be a memorial service at 2pm Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Andrew Chapel Church off of Trickhambridge Rd. in Brandon, MS.

James was born February 8, 1950 in Pelahatchie, MS. He was the son of Vassie Serra and Roy Westbrooks.

He was a diesel mechanic at Colonial Bread for 17 years. He also worked at Sanderson Farms and Empire Freightliner. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved creating unique things. He also loved to research and visit historical places.

James was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jerry Westbrooks.

Survivors are 3 sons, James (Jimbo) Westbrooks of Brandon, John and (Stephanie) Westbrooks of Edwards and Curtis and (Christy) Westbrooks of Brandon. 1 daughter Tammy Westbrooks of Jesup, GA. 2 brothers, Roger Blake of Brandon and Joey Hayes of Massachusetts and 2 sisters Patricia (Pat) Smith of Brandon and Jeanie Thompson of Brandon. He has 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
