James "Buddy" Crimm

“Buddy” James McArthur Crimm, age 79, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 am Friday, December 31, 2021, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home with interment at Antioch Steele Cemetery in Forest, MS.

Buddy was born July 21, 1942, in Forest, MS to James Crimm and Lucille Nicholas Crimm. He was married to Ruby Louise Stewart Crimm. Buddy was a truck driver many years before retiring. He enjoyed jug fishing with his sons on the Ross Barnett Reservoir, hunting, and running rabbits with his Beagle dogs. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lucille Crimm; brother, Clarence Crimm and his sisters, Margaret Crimm and Ruby Rea Thomas.

Buddy is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruby Louise Stewart Crimm; sons, Buddy Joel Crimm and Michael Lois Crimm; grandchildren, Laura Langford (Adam), Michael Crimm and Mitchell Crimm; great grandchildren, Jacob Langford, Jaycee Langford, Olivia Langford and Jaden Crimm; sister, Diane Mobley (Terry); many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
