Mr. James Franklin "Frank" Moss age 73, passed away at his residence Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in Pelahatchie, MS. Funeral Services were held Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS. Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Moss was buried at the Mississippi Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Newton, MS. Reverend Gary Wyatt, pastor of North Morton Baptist Church officiated the services.
Frank Moss as he was normally called was born to his parents, Lonnie & Rose Lee Moss on April 17, 1942 in Kosciusko, MS. He worked in the Poultry Industry for over 25 years. He was Baptist by faith and he enjoyed spending time with his family, watching westerns and "good old style" country music, and loved fishing.
Mr. Moss was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie & Rose Lee "Warren" Moss, his wife Dee Moss, and his son James Michael Moss.
Frank Moss is survived by his daughters, Debbie Barrett (Randy) of Pelahatchie, MS and Teresa Luna (Leonard) of Crowley, TX; his sisters, Cathy Moss, Joyce Harper and Marie Devine; his brothers, Buster Moss, David Moss, William Moss; five grandchildren, Michael Sumrall, Matthew Pugh, James Moss, Nicole Landmesser, Cody Dees; with seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were Michael Sumrall, Matthew Pugh, and Nicole Landmesser.
Funeral Services were entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home, in Morton, MS.
