James I. “Jimmy” McGowan, 72, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at his home in Florence. Visitation will be Monday, September 17, 2012 from 5 – 8 pm and Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 1 – 2 pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland, MS. Funeral Services are 2 pm Tuesday from the Chapel of Ott & Lee with burial to follow in Glenwood Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include his children, Jimmy D. McGowan of Florence, James D. McGowan of Richland, Candance L. McGowan of Richland, Jacky D. McGowan of Pearl and Jerel D. McGowan of Florence; and one brother, Hugh Vernon McGowan of Brandon; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
