James William Null Brandon, MS James (Jim) William Null, 84, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be 5-8pm Thursday, November 6, 2014, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services will be at 10:00am in the chapel of the funeral home with interment to follow at 12:30pm in Beezer Cemetery in Smith County. James was born in Braxton, MS on April 5, 1930, to William Green Null and Effie Miller Null. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Beatrice Smith McKinney. Jim served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked at Vickers and retired from Siemens as a machinist and he was a member of Walker Hill Baptist Church. Jim is survived by his wife, Betty R. Null; grandson, Corey A. Null and wife, Kayla and their children, Jaycie and Averey; 2 sons, James Mark Null and wife, Denise of Richland, MS and Kelly O. Null of Ozark, AL; 3 granddaughters, and 3 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice Ministries and especially to Donna Claycomb, Rev. B.B. Watson and Kim for their care of Jim.
