James T. “Jimmy” Mangum, 57, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012 in the chapel of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Visitation will be held from 5:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2012 and from 11:00a.m. until the service time on Thursday. Interment will follow the service in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert F. Mangum.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Norma Mangum; daughter Shay Shoemaker (Tony); sisters, Tammy Sims (Harry), and Kathy Bass (Tommy); three grandchildren, Austin, Lauren, and Ana Layne Shoemaker; a lifelong companion and former wife, Rhonda Mangum; and many nieces and nephews.
