Jamie Lee Aldridge, 86, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, at Hospice Ministries, Inc. Visitation will be 5-8 P.M. Saturday, May 24, 2014, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Services are 3 P.M. Sunday in the chapel of the funeral home with interment in Fannin Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Aldridge was born on January 4, 1928 in Lena, MS to Lawrence James Dodd, Sr. and Ada Torrance Dodd. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Survivors include her children, Jo (Butch) Lawrence of Brandon, Wiley (Louise) Aldridge of Brandon, and Carey (Sandra) of Crystal Springs; sisters, Martha Metts of Pearl, Sara D. Dodd of Madison and Judy D. Lyons of Lafayette, LA; brother, William S. Dodd of Pearl; 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Eugene Aldridge; sisters, Lexie D. Heintz and Eva D. Prouty; and a brother, Lawrence J. Dodd, Jr.
