Jane Elizabeth Guyton

Mrs. Jane Elizabeth Bennett Guyton, age 86, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023.

Visitation will be from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon on Thursday, September 28, 2023. A Graveside Service will follow at 3:00pm at Sallis Cemetery in Sallis, MS.

Jane was born in Kosciusko, MS on January 31, 1937, to the late James Bennett and Hilda Mae Norris Bennett. Jane worked at Busicks Clothing Store in Pearl and then retired from Fashions Incorporated as a Bookkeeper. She had a green thumb, enjoyed hummingbirds, and collected Christmas Santas. Jane was serious about her Wheel of Fortune and we know that she is watching in Heaven at 6:30pm in the evenings.

She is survived by her children, David (Ruthie) Guyton of Flowood, MS, Ronnie Guyton of Slidell, LA, Christie Guyton (Rusty) Gremillion of Alabaster, Al, and Donna Guyton Parks of Olive Branch, MS, sister Judy Tyson of Denver, Co, seven grandchildren, Shay (Greg) Wallace, Guy (Erin) Bader, Bradley (Landrianna) Bader, Jay (Amanda) Gremillion, Gregory (Ashley) Gremillion, Lindsey (Blake) Sloan, and Leslie Guyton, 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Allen Clark Guyton, and sister Sharon Ballanger.
