Jane Pryor Tadlock

Forest

Jane Pryor Tadlock, 84, joined her Heavenly Father on December 9, 2023. Mrs. Tadlock was born September 27, 1939 in Forest, Ms. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 9-11 AM with a funeral service at 11AM at Forest Methodist Church. Officiating will be Reverand Ryan McGough. Graveside services will not be held as family and friends will fellowship at the church after the conclusion of the service.

Mrs. Tadlock is preceded in death by her father, Waldo Moore Pryor; mother, Zola Mae Morrow Pryor Peoples; sister, Priscilla Ann Pryor; brother, Paul Pryor; her son, Bobby Tadlock; and her son-in-law, John Michael Baggett.

She leaves behind her loving husband whom she shared 66 wonderful years of marriage with, Mr. Bob Tadlock. Bob has adored and doted on Jane for nearly her whole life. They were childhood sweethearts who grew up to be married on June 23rd, 1957. Also surviving are two children, Chris Tadlock (Amy), and Sheree’ Baggett; and a daughter-in-law, Meshalle Stewart Tadlock; 6 grandchildren: Abigail “Abi” Harrell (Hunter), Danielle Smith (Josh), Bolon Tadlock (Kalee), Paige Keene (Cullen), Emilee Martin (Tre’), and Adyson Tadlock; 4 great-grandchildren: Blakely Keene, Rowen Smith, Crew Smith, and Valerie Ann Harrell; Siblings: Junior Pryor (Charlene), Pam Wallace (Warren), Janet Richardson (Hiram), Sheila Sims (Ken), Eddie Pryor (Michelle.)

Jane could easily be described as setting the standard for a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a Proverbs 31 woman in every sense of the verse. She poured her heart into everything she attempted, loved to take care of people and was always looking out for the less fortunate. Jane was a caterer by trade and cooked every meal she served with a heaping tablespoon of love.  Her children were her entire world, at least until her grandchildren and great-grandchildren entered her life. She loved every person in her family with everything she had and devoted her time to making sure they knew it. She was a faithful church member at Forest Methodist Church and was there bright and early every time the doors were open. Jane was adored in her community and known for her kindhearted personality. The world and this community are just a little darker without Mrs. Tadlock around. She will be missed immensely by all who knew her.

Final resting place is in the Homewood Methodist Cemetery.

Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest is honored to serve the Tadlock family.
