Janell Rutledge, 67, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 24, 2010 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation is 9 – 11 am Monday, September 27, 2010 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11 am Monday from the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with burial to follow in the New Brandon Cemetery. Rev. John Moore will officiate.
Janell Woods was born on May 19, 1943 to the late Robert Lee and Lillie Idell Dearmon
in State Line, MS. She had been a resident of the Brandon area for 12 years and was a former longtime resident of Jackson. She was a Methodist. She had worked for MMC Materials, Inc. for the past 14 years as a bookkeeper. She was a former employee of Capweld, Inc. where she worked in data entry and bookkeeping for 17 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Lindsey and her husband, Brian of Brandon, MS; two grandchildren, Carson and Taylor Lindsey of Brandon, MS; and four brothers, Joe Woods of Fairview, Oregon, Rodrick Woods of Livingston, TX, Sidney Ray Woods of Pearland, TX, and W. C. Woods of South Houston, TX.
