Janice E. Easterling

Mrs. Janice Easterling, a resident of Morton, MS she passed away on January 14,2025 in Morton. The family will be having a Memorial Service on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at North Morton Baptist Church, starting at 3:00pm. Friends and other family members are invited to attend.  

Janice was born on October 18, 1936 to Earnest and Beatrice Goins Massey. Janice worked with Tylon Manufacturing Company for several years before retiring. She was a Christian by faith and was a member of North Morton Baptist Church. Hobbies of Janice was to cook for her family and friends especially baking cakes and pies. 

Preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Beatrice Massey; daughters, Barbara Wilkerson and Renee Easterling; grandchild, Heather Shoemaker, great grandchild, James T. Marcangeli; son-in-law, Billy D. Shoemaker, her 1st husband, Fate Lyle, and 2nd husband, Buddy Easterling. Survived by one daughter, Carolyn Shoemaker, six grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
