Janice Judy

Janice Lea Arbogast Judy, of Mississippi passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Aug. 17, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. A funeral service will be held in her honor at Ott & Lee Funeral Home at 1360 W. Government St. Brandon, MS 39042 on Mon. Aug. 23, 2021 at 3pm. Friends and family will be gathering before the service from 1pm-3pm. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery on Tues. Aug. 24, 2021.

Janice was born May 16, 1941 in Laurel Point, WV to the late Thamer Ray and Opal E. Arbogast. Later she married the love of her life, John L. Judy on May 23, 1959. Her passions in life included her family, country and helping others. She lived a life full of love and care for everyone she met.

She is survived by her husband, Lt. Col. John Judy; children, Robin Dauzat (Ray), Mark Aaron Judy (Michele), Scott Judy (Tammy) and Tracy Dunn (Marc); two sisters, Judy Filhour and Pamella Butler; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; sister in law, Fran Judy and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Judy is also preceded in death by her brother, Thamer Arbogast Jr.; sister, Carol Judy; three brothers in law, Donald Gatian, Berlin Garland Judy Jr., Dale E. Judy and two sisters in law, Lenora Judy Medlin, Mary Ellen Judy Gatian and Betty Jean Judy Westerman.
